October LTA 3
We have had such a busy and exciting month! We are now in full school mode with our second month complete. Our classroom has been filled with learning, creativity, and lots of fun! In ELA , we explored science topics — learning all about magnets and how they stick to different objects. We also discussed what happens at a science fair and brainstormed different topics we could learn about there! In Math , we focused on adding, subtracting, and multiplying numbers 1–10 . We also practiced skip counting and read lots of math-themed books to help us understand these concepts in fun ways. In Science and Social Studies , we learned about apples, leaves, and pumpkins . We explored how each one grows and the many colors they can be. In Writing , we created stories and informational pieces all about leaves and pumpkins . Our Specials have been in full swing this month, too! We enjoyed so many exciting activities, including music, Boogie coming, Piedmont Wildlife , and Frankie Friends . ...
